Naqab: A naqab is one that is used to cover only the upper part of the body, especially the head and face. The face is not visible in it at all. But the eyes are visible. A common Muslim woman also wrap the entire face with some cloth and only eyes are visible.

Nowadays, the hijab is also worn on the head along with the lower part of the burqa.

Chadar – It looks like a burqa. But it is a single piece. The burqa consists of two parts whereas it has only one. Generally, two types of trends of chadar are seen in use.

First- By keeping the sheet on the head, it is wrapped around the body. This covers the head and the upper part of the body. Holding it with both hands according to the need, the body is also covered. It does not cover the whole face.

Nor does it cover the whole body till the feet like a burqa. Its trend is seen quite a lot in the Shia community among the Muslim community. The trend of chadar is very high in Pakistan and Iran. Working women also use this type of bed sheet.

Second– It is designed with a cap to cover the head in a single piece. Along with the cap, a mesh is also applied to cover the eyes. In this, the eyes are covered and the face under the eyes is visible. Also, the lower part of the body is also not completely covered by it. Often, elderly women are seen using such sheets.

Shyla

Although its trend is less seen in India. But this is also a kind of hijab. The only difference is that its size is slightly larger, which covers the entire head as well as the neck and like a muffler, some part of it hangs down. Full face is visible in it.

Al Amira- According to Islamic tradition, it is considered very important for women to hide their hair properly. The al-amira is a similar type of veil to a two-piece scarf. In this, the whole head is tied very tightly with one piece. While the second piece is put on top of it, covering from the shoulders to the chest. In this too the whole face remains open.
