The Indian Air Force targeted 9 terrorist hideouts in Pakistan and Pakistan Occupied Kashmir, where Lashkar-e-Taiba and Jaish-e-Mohammed had launch pads. These include Kotli, Bahawalpur, Muzaffarabad and some locations in Punjab province.
Operation Sindoor did not target the Pakistani Army
This attack was carried out by the Indian Army on 7 May 2025 at around 1:30 AM. The Indian Air Force used precision missiles in this attack. According to the report, it is being said that 24 missiles were fired under. In which the top commander of Lashkar-e-Taiba was also targeted. The purpose of this not to target the Pakistan Army. Pakistan’s reaction on Operation Sindoor
Pakistan has condemned Operation which took place amid tension between India and Pakistan. After this, Lahore and Sialkot airports have been closed. Not only this, emergency has also been declared in Lahore. However, Pakistani military spokesperson says that preparations are underway for retaliatory action.
Objectives and Execution
The primary goal of Operation Sindoor was to dismantle terrorist infrastructure associated with Lashkar-e-Taiba, Jaish-e-Mohammed, and Hizbul Mujahideen. The Indian Air Force deployed Rafale fighter jets equipped with SCALP missiles and AASM Hammer bombs to carry out the strikes. The operation lasted approximately 23 minutes and was described by the Indian Ministry of Defence as “focused, measured, and non-escalatory,” emphasizing that no Pakistani military installations were targeted.
